About two months ago, Anthropic said Claude Mythos was way too dangerous to release to the public. So they didn't. Instead, they performed an amazingly effective marketing campaign that pulled in many of the top companies in the world to gain exclusive access to this model to ensure their software was safe. But now they say they're rolling out Mythos-class models to the public.
And to clarify, this video was made before they released the Mythos-class model Fable 5, which is a heavily safeguarded version of Mythos.
