Severe floods continue to create chaos for Dubai residents after record rainfall #shorts
Flights continued to be “delayed and disrupted” at Dubai International Airport on April 18, days after the heaviest rain in decades caused havoc in the UAE.
Riley White was among those caught up in the travel misery, saying he endured two canceled flights and 34 hours of delay on his way from Dublin to Australia. He said even getting to the airport was an ordeal, as he traversed flooded roads by car and bus before he finished by walking “to the airport barefoot”.
There was some light at the end of the tunnel for travelers on April 18, however, as flights into Terminal 1 and check-in for flights out of Terminal 3 resumed, the airport said.
