Sweetwater was recently given the honor of visiting the good folks at Breedlove at their Bend, Oregon headquarters. In their 30-plus years, Breedlove’s forged their path through a distinctive dedication to both sustainability and innovation, including their state-of-the-art Sound Optimization process. Every sound-optimized guitar is meticulously voiced by hand to ensure optimal harmonic resonance with the guitar’s tonewoods. This also guarantees that the inevitable differences in stiffness of the wood used won’t compromise the balance of sound quality with each guitar made. Plus, Breedlove takes note of every detail with exacting precision, meaning that if you find someone with a sound-optimized guitar you like, you can give Breedlove the serial number, and they’ll replicate it for you!
