Coming from a family of musical multi-hyphenates, Yvette Young was primed for the arts from an early age, following in her parents’ creative tradition and picking up both the piano and the violin by the age of seven. These experiences would lay the foundation for her unorthodox approach to the guitar, engaging with multitudes of tunings and atypical chord shapes to craft a style entirely her own.
