Occasionally -- albeit rarely -- a museum artifact's missing elements can be restored using parts from a historically accurate source, in this case 100-year-old wooden chairs from the Freewill Baptist Church at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Objects conservation fellow Daisy Greenwell shows Adam Savage how she installed chair-back spindles without disturbing the historic chair's back bow while maintaining its period accuracy. It's creative problem-solving at its finest, and involves one of Adam's FAVORITE tools!
