In this English lesson, I'll help you learn words and phrases about modern conveniences. These days, there are so many amazing inventions and services that make our lives easier, save us time, and help us with everyday tasks. In this free English lesson, you'll learn how to talk about these conveniences in English.
We'll start by looking at conveniences in modern vehicles, including backup cameras, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot detection, remote car starters, and keyless entry. We'll also talk about newer technology like robotaxis and self-driving cars.
We'll also learn about technology we use every day, such as wireless charging, digital wallets, facial recognition, AI assistants, smartwatches, smart speakers, and cloud storage. These are all things that can make our daily routines a little easier!
We'll also look at conveniences around the house, like air fryers, robot lawn mowers, and smart thermostats. When it comes to shopping and ordering things, we'll learn about self-checkout, food delivery, grocery delivery, meal kits, subscription delivery, mobile ordering, self-order kiosks, same-day delivery, and package tracking. We'll even talk about online appointments!
By the end of this English lesson, you'll know almost 30 useful English words and phrases to help you talk about modern conveniences in your everyday English conversations.
