After being married for nearly 31 years, TODAY weather anchor Al Roker and ABC’s Deborah Roberts have reached a new milestone in their relationship: running into each other while on assignment.
Al Roker and Deborah Roberts were like two planes passing in the night during an unexpected airport encounter.
As Roker traveled back from a shoot at Universal Orlando for Hollywood Horror Nights, he crossed paths with his wife, a fellow television journalist, who was en route to her own shoot.
Both Roker and Roberts shared the story of the destined moment on Instagram.
“This is a first! Running into @debrobertsabc on her way to an assignment at @lgaairport as I’m coming back from a shoot at @universalorlando for @horrornightsorl,” Roker captioned his Aug. 25 post.
