Announcing In-Place Version Upgrades for Managed Service for Apache Flink | Amazon Web Services
With Managed Service for Apache Flink, you can now perform in-place version upgrades to your running applications, including your application state. If you are running an older version of Apache Flink, you can now upgrade these applications statefully, while running, to the latest supported Apache Flink version.
