A Los Angeles judge ruled that prosecutors presented enough evidence for singer David Anthony Burke, who performs as D4vd, to stand trial on charges that he murdered and dismembered a 14-year-old girl in 2025. Burke, 21, has pleaded not guilty to charges including first-degree murder, mutilation of human remains and child sexual abuse. Prosecutors allege he killed the girl to prevent her from exposing their alleged relationship, while his defense maintains he is innocent and was not responsible for her death.
