World’s First 6x6 Ferrari Testarossa
Richard Rawlings and the team at Gas Monkey Garage have built a one-of-one Ferrari Testarossa unlike anything else on the road.
Dubbed the F6 Ferrari, the car runs a 6x6 wheel configuration and a supercharged LT4 motor producing roughly 1,200 horsepower — about ten times what the original Testarossa made from the factory.
To make it all work, the chassis was stretched by around three feet, and the body was widened with custom panels that pull design cues from the F40, including the headlights and taillights.
The custom wheels alone cost around $60,000 to build. Much of the running gear comes from General Motors and Audi, which actually makes the car easier to maintain than a stock Ferrari.
