All over IFA, there were robots trying to talk, walk, or strut for us. Companies are increasingly bringing humanoid robots to consumer electronics trade shows, pushing them as household helpers and companion bots. But we have yet to see the autonomy and function catch up to the impressive hardware. Right now, it’s still just a runway show.
