Today’s Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice John Roberts, is one of America’s most conservative in a century. It has curbed, or overturned entirely, many longstanding precedents. The last court that was this consequential was, in fact, a liberal one. It was led by Chief Justice Earl Warren, who saw the role of the Supreme Court in American life very differently to other Chief Justices. #America #SCOTUS #history
