Secretary of War Pete Hegseth defended the Iran war against Congress during his testimony on Wednesday April 29th. Democrats questioned Hegseth about the open-ended conflict, when California Rep. John Garamendi called the war a "quagmire" and a "political and economic disaster at every level." Hegseth angrily responded with backlash. Saying "You call it a quagmire, handing propaganda to our enemies? Shame on you for that statement."
