Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a scathing assessment of Iran’s military capabilities, declaring that the country’s navy has effectively been destroyed. Mocking Iran’s remaining maritime assets as “Boston Whalers with machine guns,” Rubio said the fleet now lies at the bottom of the ocean and joked that its sunken ships will eventually become artificial reefs and fishing spots.
