Suspect attempts of flee after cops stop him for alleged indecent exposure at FL Walmart
A 35-year-old man who led deputies on a foot chase through a Walmart in Fort Myers, Florida, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after he allegedly followed female shoppers around the store while inappropriately touching himself.
Footage released by Lee County Sheriff’s Office shows an officer confronting Jawahn Lynell Jennings inside the Cypress Parkway Walmart in Fort Myers on April 18.
The sheriff’s office said Jennings had been seen following female shoppers around the store while inappropriately touching himself.
After a short exchange with a deputy Jennings attempts to flee, dashing for the store exit where another officer tackles him to the ground.
Jennings, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, the sheriff’s office said.
