Speaking English on the phone is a different kind of scary, you can't see the other person's face and if you freeze the silence is right there in your ear, so today's English shadowing practice is a restaurant phone call where you make a reservation, the time you want is fully booked, and you have to think on your feet. Shadowing means you speak the caller's lines out loud at the same time as the audio, matching the rhythm and pace so your mouth keeps moving instead of freezing, and by the end you'll be more comfortable making a reservation, asking about availability, and handling a real phone conversation in English. This is Day 5 of a 7-day shadowing challenge with one new real-life conversation every day this week, so write "Day 5 done" in the comments and come back tomorrow for Day 6 at the doctor's office.
