Nahum: Exploring perspective through space - Brought to you by Hyundai
In the final episode of the season of ART + TECHNOLOGY, we meet Nahum, an artist whose work combines outer-space technologies, illusionism, and hypnosis to create alternative perspectives of human experience.
He talks us through Matters of Gravity a space mission that saw 9 artist and a scientist reflect on gravity by its very absence. Experiencing weightlessness mid-air, they embarked on different art projects which were devised for the special flight. We also explore The Contours of Presence the world’s first interactive artwork in outer space. It explores the relationship and disconnection of two presences: a technological sculpture in space and the physical presence of an audience member.
