Minor 7b5 practice blog with pro substitution hack
You can think and conceive of a minor 7 b5 chord as a tonic Minor 6
and even a Dominant 9th.
So this means you can play the same line over 3 chords, which can have multiple benefits adding to your musical freedom, expression + understanding!
For example if you have B-7b5 chord you can think of it as a D-6 and even a G9th.
The reason you can substitute D-6 and G9 for B-7b5 is because these chords contain the same overall notes. It is the bass note that changes.
