Jazz Improv Secrets Revealed! - the 3 Pro Techniques you need to know!
Django Reindhart´s and Stephane Grappelli´s 1938 version
of “I got Rhythm” was just based on 2 chords - Tonic to Dominant
BUT how do we improvise on these 2 chords?
One way is just to use the chord tones,
to treat each chord separately (LOCALLY)
Another way is to use the LOCAL approach but add
some chromatic notes.
A 3rd way to try is to play GLOBALLY.
