Ed Sheeran Speaks Out About Macklemore Tour Firing and ‘Free Palestine’ Drama

Ed Sheeran admits to 'making mistakes' while addressing the backlash his tour is facing during his concert in Philadelphia. It comes after Macklemore was dropped as one of Ed's opening acts over pro-Palestinian comments he made during a show in New Jersey. As a result, the rest of the opening acts dropped out of the tour. Ed apologizes for how everything has played out adding, 'I've never wanted to be an activist musician, but this has put me in the middle of an important and passionate argument about freedom of speech and the most complex political issue on the planet.'
