Hantavirus Cruisers Land in US — as Harvard Expert Says Officials Are Wrong About How it Spreads
Harvard professor is making waves after suggesting the Centers for Disease Control are sending out contradicting messaging about the hantavirus, amid a devastating outbreak on the ill-fated MV Hondius cruise ship, which killed three, infected at least 11, and put dozens of others at risk.
In an interview on MS NOW, Professor Joseph Allen said he spoke with a doctor who was on board the Dutch expedition cruise who confirmed that some infected passengers didn’t have what he would consider “close contact.”
