Tehran launched an “unprovoked” attack targeting US Navy ships attempting to sail through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, prompting the US to unleash a wave of “self-defense” strikes on an Iranian port, and on Friday to hit two Iranian tankers attempting to break past the American blockade.
Despite the attack, the US is still adhering to the monthlong cease-fire with Iran and has not declared it broken but when a reporter asked the President about the cease-fire, he issued an ominous warning to Iran.
