Sous Vide in 76 Seconds
What Is Sous Vide?
The method of cooking food in water at the exact temperature we want—so it comes out perfectly every time. With sous vide, your steak, chicken, ribs, or even crème brûlée will never overcook, no matter how long it stays in the bath.
How it works:
- Seal your food in a bag.
- Place it in water heated to your target temperature.
- Cook until it reaches perfect doneness, then sear or finish as you like.
Key tips:
- The food never gets hotter than the water, so you can’t overcook it.
- Resting in the water keeps food ready until you are.
- It frees you up to focus on sauces, sides, and your guests.
We use sous vide for everything from carnitas to fried chicken, crème brûlée to smoky ribs. Once you try it, you’ll never stress about overcooking again.
