Sudanese refugee Mohamed Semra knows what It's like to feel powerless.
As a teenager he had to overcome a debilitating stutter and he was kicked out of an Apple Store by security guards worried he might steal.
Determined to be a voice for his Melbourne community, Semra became a mayor at just 27.
And he knows that all eyes are on him.
