Music on an iPad? Three Big Problems
Music on an iPad? Three Big Problems: Can you write proper music on an iPad? In this holiday special that’s what our intrepid composer Guy Michelmore went to find out. Travelling as far as the exotic beaches of the south of England he investigates the pros and cons of making tunes, songs, or tracks on an Apple iPad. He bumps into a series of obstacles but are any of them insuperable? The iPad is paired up with two Arturia keyboards - the Minilab mk3 and the Microlab. (Thank you Arturia for the Minilab 3 - the Microlab I already bought) The Minilab comes with pads, knobs and faders as well as a very playable mini 25 note keyboard. The microlab is even more compact but without the knobs, faders and pads.
