President Donald Trump joked during a back-to-school event at the White House that outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt loves her children more than she loves him, saying he was “very upset” that she had to go home to spend time with them. Trump also congratulated Leavitt on her newborn child. It was the second time in four days that Trump made the same joke, after previously mentioning it at a rally on August 21.
