Most major corporations nowadays will operate on this new mid-level business casual, and this is what most companies actually mean as the business casual dress code. A uniform of dress shirt, chinos, and Patagonia fleece vest has become something of a stereotype for many businesses over the last decade.

Some professions still do traditional business casual, and this tier is one of the most closely aligned with the definition of business casual we often refer to.
