Smartsheet relies on Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate fully-managed container orchestration service to improve deployment frequency and engineer capacity. With ECS and Fargate, Smartsheet is able to scale out capacity by 50x, reducing engineering time to deploy from hours to minutes. By leveraging deep integrations across AWS services they are also able to improve efficiencies and simplify their security and compliance process. Additionally, by adopting AWS Graviton processors with their Fargate deployments, Smartsheet has seen a 20% reduction in cost.
