These days, we're seeing many more formal menswear items disappear from common wear. For instance, men are forgoing neckties and opting for sport coats (or sweaters) instead of suits if they "have" to dress up.
As a channel devoted to classic menswear, you might think GG would be against casual attire—but we're not! In fact, we fully support the diversity of clothing extant today.
And while we’d love to see more men trying classically inspired outfits, it’s better that people do so when they want to, as opposed to being forced to. What's more, "classic style" isn’t just a suit & tie.
In fact, many casual pieces have a rich historical pedigree of their own, and can be stylishly incorporated into classic looks.So, even with casual style being the present (and likely the future) of clothing for most people, we encourage everyone to wear what they like.
