TASMANIAN DEVIL — Aggressive Nightmare with eerie screams
He's like the brother of a honey badger from Australia with creepy screams.
The first European settlers of Tasmania wrote about terrible screams at night, thinking that it was the devil voice. It turned out that it was an animal that received quite a few ominous names. This is a Tasmanian devil, marsupial devil, or in Latin, «lover of the flesh». The only representative of this genus is this marsupial mammal. The animal is similar in size to a medium-sized dog, but his appearance is more like a tiny bear. His body doesn't exceed 80 centimeters in length, excluding the tail. The average weight of animals is 6-8 kilograms. Males are larger than females, and the fattest of them can weigh up to 12 kilograms. Fat reserves are deposited in the tail, which are consumed in times of famine, so his condition may indicate the well-being of the animal.
