Halo: Campaign Evolved - PlayStation 5 Pro vs Xbox Series X Graphics Comparison
The remake of the original Halo game Combat Evolved is here. Halo: Campaign Evolved is a total remake from the ground up of the genre defining shooter that not only has completely overhauled visuals and modern gameplay elements, but for the first time ever, a main line Halo game is playable on a PlayStation.
The game looks incredible on both PlayStation 5 pro, and Xbox Series X and on both platforms you have two graphics modes to choose from, Performance and Quality.
On Series X in quality mode you get the game running at a stable 30fps with better visuals and a dynamic 4k output while Performance mode offers dynamic scaling at a buttery smooth targeted 60fps.
On PlayStation 5 pro you pretty much get the same options. Quality is upscaled via PSSR with a target frame rate of 30fps while performance hits 60fps. Load times were faster on PS5 Pro, but that’s hardly saying much since the load times were pretty quick on Xbox to begin with.
Regardless of where you play Campaign evolved, Master Chief and Cortana have never looked better.
Gameplay captured on PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X using Quality graphics modes.
