Three types of shorts never to wear!
1. Cargo Shorts
While convenient with their numerous pockets, cargo shorts can give off a sloppy, overly casual vibe. Unless you actually need to carry lots of little tools and items, you don't need those bulky pockets spoiling the lines of your trousers.
2. Athletic Shorts:
Although perfect for the gym or a quick workout, athletic shorts aren't a great choice outside of these environments. A pair of cotton or linen shorts are just as comfortable, but appear infinitely more elegant and put-together.
3. Denim Shorts:
Jeans may have a place in classic style, but in our opinion, denim shorts (or "jorts") are just too informal for all but the most casual looks. For a pair of shorts with similar visual interest but a better classic-style pedigree, consider madras shorts or chino shorts in fun and vibrant colors.
