After the war, several renegade Jewish groups sought out vengeance on the Nazis. Including members of the British Army, The Jewish Brigade kidnapped suspected war criminals, made them confess and killed them. Another group led by Lithuanian, Abba Kovner, pursued an incredible plan to poison six million Germans in four major cities by compromising water supplies. The Vengeance Group attempted to poison bread intended for Stalig 13, a detention centre for ex SAS in Nuremberg. Jewish led assassinations would continue for decades, but remarkably, none of these Avengers have ever been tried for the revenge of killing a Nazi.
