Nishinari is well known by locals as the most dangerous area of Osaka. But just how dangerous is it? After spending a whole week staying in a hotel there, I thought I would share my experience, as well as join a tour that goes deeper into the district to some areas that I probably wouldn't want to go to alone... especially at night. Nishinari definitely has a different feel to it compared to the rest of the city, but I think that's what kind of gives it its charm and makes you look at Japan in a new light.
