Women’s Pro Baseball League Returns to the Field After 70 Years

The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League was established in 1943 and was made famous a half-century later by the classic movie “A League of Their Own.” Now more than seven decades since the league folded, a new collection of talented ballplayers are taking the field in an era when women’s sports are thriving. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports in this week’s Sunday Spotlight.
