The pro-Palestinian camps setting up at Australian universities | 7.30
It began in New York - students setting up a pro-Palestinian camp at Columbia University nearly three weeks ago. But Columbia called in the police who stormed buildings and arrested scores of students.
The movement has spread to Australian universities with camps popping up in at least seven cities. At Sydney uni, the first camp set up in Australia is entering its third week and has been up against the elements.
So far, the university has allowed the camp to stay. We visited the site as the organisers were bedding down for the long haul.
