Saturday’s 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby saw a heart-pounding finish with Golden Tempo coming from dead last to win the Derby with jockey José Ortiz aboard. Golden Tempo’s trainer, Cherie DeVaux, became the first woman trainer to win the Kentucky Derby.
