Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) argued that “Sharia law has no place in America,” in a fiery speech at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas. “We are witnessing a new and dangerous red-green alliance,” Cruz warned. “Communists and Islamists coming together and sweeping over the Democrat Party.” Cruz, who has previously hinted at a possible 2028 White House run, argued that the two groups are “united because they share the same enemies.”
