JoJo chats with ET's Denny Directo ahead of the 2026 Video Music Awards, airing live on MTV, CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, Sept. 27. The singer reveals her bikini-top look was not her first choice, but an emergency back-up she had to wear... because her original dress fell apart during the final tailoring session. The final fit, though, gives mermaid vibes, just in time for the 'Aquamarine' reboot! While JoJo's not involved in the pilot for Disney+, she says she's read the script and knows co-star turned executive producer Emma Roberts has a vision for the fans; if it gets picked up to series, she promises to be there! This year also marks the 20th anniversary of JoJo's sophomore album, 'The High Road.' She says she finally relates to those songs (including 'Too Little Too Late') as a grown woman, after not exactly understanding them as a tween.
