Christa Pike attorney Randy Spivey just said that Pike is in “critical condition” and receiving life-saving care.
There is blistering and burning around her wound, he added.
“One of the things I noticed was her right arm turning purple, especially after the second round of chemicals were put into her body,” Spivey said, describing what he saw in the execution chamber last night.
Eventually, “The curtains were closed and everyone was removed from that room. … I have no idea what happened in that room,” he said.
