JAY-Z Makes First Festival Appearance in 7 Years

JAY-Z makes his first, live festival appearance in seven years, reuniting with The Roots on stagefor the first time in more than a decade while headlining Roots Picnic 2026 in Philadelphia. The rapper delivers an epic freestyle that seemingly takes aim at Nicki Minaj, Drake and Kanye West. Fans last saw JAY-Z perform alongside Beyoncé during her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour stop in Paris a year ago. Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy traveled with the rap icon to Philly for the surprise performance.
