Maddox Jolie Files to Legally Drop Dad Brad Pitt’s Last Name

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son, Maddox, filed paperwork to legally remove 'Pitt' from his surname, seeking to change his name to Maddox Chivan Jolie. It seems to be a clerical update for the 24-year-old, seeing as he's previously used the name Maddox Jolie on his film credits, largely working behind the scenes on mom Angelina's films, including the forthcoming 'Couture.' The move comes after a source told ET, Brad feels 'alienated from his family.' Maddox joins sisters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne in also dropping 'Pitt' from their names.
