Ted Turner, Media Mogul and CNN Founder, Dead at 87

Ted Turner has died. The legendary entrepreneur and television producer founded the Cable News Network (CNN), the first 24-hour cable news channel and the Turner Broadcast System (TBS). His contributions to philanthropy included creating the United Nations Foundation, a public charity that broadened the United States support of the United Nations. He was 87.
