In 2021, Nissan launched the 3rd generation of the Qashqai compact crossover with just one 1.3 liter engine in two power variants, with front wheel drive or all-wheel drive. At launch Nissan also announced the e-Power variant would soon join the range.
The e-Power is neither a full hybrid nor a full EV, but a combination of the two technologies. It’s got a fuel door, but no charging port. However Nissan Qashqai e-Power has its wheels driven by an electric motor at all times. Let's take it for a drive and I'll explain everything!
