Kubernetes DNS not resolving? ?
If your pod reaches google.com but kubernetes.default
fails, it's almost never the network. It's ONE setting:
dnsPolicy.
Here's the cheat sheet ?
✅ ClusterFirst .............. queries go to CoreDNS
❌ Default ................... uses the node's DNS (no clue about your services)
✅ ClusterFirstWithHostNet ... the fix for hostNetwork pods
? Two things to check when internal names won't resolve:
1. The pod's /etc/resolv.conf
2. Its dnsPolicy
