Elizabeth Smart sits down with ET’s Emily Curl to discuss her pivot into bodybuilding, 23 years after she shot to international infamy due to her nine-month-long kidnapping, when she was only 14. The now-married mom of three shares how her secret journey into bodybuilding changed her life and increased her gratitude for what her body has done for her, through the good and the bad. Her new book, ‘Detours: Hope & Growth After Life’s Hardest Turns,’ is out now and details her journey as a survivor.
