Hungary 'reclaimed their European path'

Hungary has reclaimed its "European path" after Péter Magyar's election victory over Viktor Orbán, said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Von der Leyen called Magyar's victory "exceptional" and looks forward to working with the new prime minister, who campaigned on stronger ties with the EU in sharp contrast to Orbán.
