In autumn 2022, I attended the global launch event of the new 7 Series, with focus on the all-electric version. The BMW i7 - as the electric limousine is called - certainly is a great car to chauffeur VIPs around town or on short trips between cities, but when there’s a longer drive ahead, nothing beats a diesel. At least that’s the case in Europe.
