President Trump paid tribute to Theodore Roosevelt by loaning the Medal of Honor on display at the White House to the newly opened presidential library. The actual medal resides in the Roosevelt Room at the White House. Also at the library is the Medal of Honor belonging to Roosevelt’s son.
"I'll be a little bit lonely in there without it, but I thought this would be a very, really appropriate place to have it," Trump said before musing he'd like to award one to himself.
