The new BMW iX5 arrives at a fascinating time for premium electric SUVs, facing competition from the Porsche Cayenne Electric, Volvo EX90, Range Rover Electric, BYD, Denza and Xpeng. On paper it looks hugely capable, but we’ll reserve final judgement until we’ve driven it later this year.
